Privacy notice

The short version

Your portal is private. We encrypt what you enter. We never sell it, never use it for ads, and never share it unless you turn sharing on. You can delete your account at any time.

Who we are

The portal is run by Green Bridge Society Inc., Tyrone, Pennsylvania. Questions: 814-360-5353 or greenbridgesociety@gmail.com.

What we collect

To sign you in: your email address. If you turn on Face ID or fingerprint sign-in, a public key from your phone. Your face and fingerprint never leave your phone.

What you choose to enter: your state, certification and state fee dates, the name you want us to call you, journal notes, daily check-ins, and anything else you add.

Apple Health (if you connect it): once a day, your sleep, steps, resting heart rate and heart rate variability. Nothing else from Apple Health.

Receipt photos: if you scan a receipt, the photo is sent to Amazon Web Services to be read, then deleted. We never store the photo. We keep only the store, date, products and prices you confirm.

Basic security records: when you sign in and what changed, so we can spot misuse. We don't keep your IP address, only a scrambled version of it.

We do not use advertising or tracking tools in the portal.

How we use it

Only to run your portal: show your notes and charts, send the reminders you ask for, and keep your account secure. Reminder emails never mention cannabis or health details.

When it leaves the portal

Only when you choose.

Share with my doctor: if you are a Green Bridge Society patient and turn this on, your physician sees a short summary, never your notes. Turn it off and the summary is removed.

Anonymous results: if you opt in, your notes are added to group totals with no name, email or birth date. We only keep totals for groups of at least 10 people.

Our service providers (web hosting, email delivery, and Amazon Web Services for reading receipts) handle data only to run the portal. We share information if the law requires it.

Green Bridge Society patients

If you connect your certification, the portal looks up your visits and dates from your Green Bridge Society record. Your certification visits are with independent physicians, who keep your medical records under their own privacy practices.

If you are not our patient

You can use the portal for free. Using it does not make you a Green Bridge Society patient, and the portal is not medical advice. Talk with your own doctor or pharmacist about your care.

Your choices

You can change or delete anything you entered, turn reminders off, stop sharing, disconnect Apple Health (which deletes that data), and delete your whole account from the Me tab. Deleting removes your journal, check-ins and sign-in right away.

Keeping it safe

Your email, dates, journal and check-ins are encrypted. The portal runs on its own server, separate from our main systems. No system is perfect; if something ever went wrong, we would tell you as the law requires.

Age

The portal is for adults 18 and older.

Changes

If we change this notice in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the portal before it takes effect.
